Western Cape School Inspires Hope

By Andrew Stratford  /    Project Location Heideveld, Western Cape

A prosperous future for our great nation rests on educating our children to the higest standards in the best environments. Few understand this better than the City of Cape Town, who recently commissioned extensive alterations and upgrades of the Heideveld Secondary School in the Western Cape.

This is such a tremendous boost to the local community of Heideveld. We applaud the City of Cape Town and all involved in this special project. We are very proud that Winblok® The Total Window System was so extensively used throughout this project.

The bold use of colours on the exterior of the building combined with the basic geometric shapes of the Winblok® System allow for a welcoming enviroment for learners. The project favoured the use of local community labour which established trust in the project's benefit for the community.

The Winblok® System is well suited to the education environment, not only does the system provide potentially functional shelving in the building, it's also a great source of bounced light and venitlation, together with being highly robust and maintenance free for many years to come.

Visit the Winblok® System page for information and don't hesitate to contact us if you are thinking of using the Winblok® System in your next project.
